Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav - SWIMATHON on 13th August

75 swimmers in Swimathon on 13th August 2022.

On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav , Hanuman Sports Academy, JD Sports Foundation and various Government departments have organized Swimathon on 13th August 2022. 75 swimmers who will swim in relay basis for 6 hours .
Swimathon event of 75 swimmers is organized for the first time our Nagpur city.
In this innovative event ,their will be   10 to 15 groups of selected 75 swimmers.
At beginning of event  & finishing time all the 75 swimmers shall enter in pool . In between hours the swimmers shall swim minimum 1hour by rotation system like relay swim. 
75 swimmers will be divided into 5groups each group will have 15 swimmers and these 15 swimmers will swim for one continous hour then after this the next group of 15 swimmers will swim  for another 1 hour and like wise for the rest.
After 1 hour of swimming 2 - 3 hours rest time will be given.
Selection of 75 swimmers for swimmathon - all the rights are reserved by organizing committee.

Eligibility for the participation

  • Swimmathon is open for all Men & Women aged between 10 - 60 years.
  • He/she should swim for  minimum 1 hour continously without support( certificate is required from respective coach / parent regarding the same 1 day before event.
  • He /She should be physically and mentally  fit & must submit the medical certificate before the event .
    • Important note -
  • Swimmers will have to present on swimmathon event day between 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.
  • He / She must have swim suit, swim cap  & goggles of their own .
  • Swimmers will have to arrange their own  supplemental foods ( energy drinks ), drinking water , etc . Carry your own umbrella.
  • Swimmers should not carry any valuable things with them , in case of any loss organizing committee will not be responsible.
  • Swimmers will have to follow all the rules & regulations of NIT swimming pool.
  • Organizing committee reserves the right to alter , amend or add the rules and regulations for the swimmathon event .
